Medical Terminology

Explore medical terms and techniques in an easy to understand format. Information on the human body, terminology, laboratory tests, medical procedures, and how medical terms are utilized will be presented. Students who have taken medical terminology in the past will benefit from this course. This course is a prerequisite for medical transcription, medical assisting, nursing and other medical professions. No class November 24th and December 22nd and 29th. Required Materials: Medical Terminology: The Language of Medicine 9th edition by Davi-Ellen Chabner (approx. $73). Available at Borders. Class meets Wednesdays 9/8/10-1/5/11.


Anyone wishing to learn about medical terminology, medical professionals, medical field.
