| The Central Maine Growth Council is central Maine's only non-profit public/private partnership dedicated to collaborative economic development. The Central Maine Growth Council's mission is to foster a robust regional economy fueled by a genuine collaboration among governments, businesses and residents, resulting in a highly desirable multi-town community in which to live, work, and raise a family.
The Central Maine Growth Council proactively markets Central Maine as a viable business location, assembles and disseminates pertinent economic development information about the region, and works with and assists local businesses and prospects/site selectors interested in the area.
Our central geographic location provides access to one of the largest labor markets in Maine with over 75,000 trained workers. Employers testify to a strong work ethic, high productivity and low turnover. Maine people have long been known for their Yankee ingenuity. |
