| Description: | The Portland Business Fund is a revolving loan fund which provides fixed, low-interest loans to provide supplemental or last-piece financing in conjunction with conventional bank financing. Funds can be used for building renovation, machinery and equipment purchase, leasehold improvements, facade renovation,and building acquisition in the downtown district. | Eligibility: | Individuals, partnerships, and corporations which own, lease, or rent commercial property within the City of Portland's downtown program boundaries. |
| Maximum Amount: | 150,000.00 |
| Interest Rate: | Rates start at 3%. |
| Collateral: | Business asset collateral and/or personal guaranties may be required. |
| Terms: | 20-year maximum loan term. Minimum private investment of at least 50% of project costs required. Application fee determined by the Downtown Portland Corporation. |
