Writing a Successful Maine Technology Institute (MTI) Seed Grant Proposal

    Sponsored/Presented by:
    Maine SBDC Eaton Peabody
    Type:Workshop
    Description:

Are you interested in applying for a MTI seed grant, but don’t have the foggiest idea how to start? Whether you currently write grants or are a true novice, this seminar can help you learn what it takes to successfully assemble a competitive seed grant proposal. As an inventor or technology-based business, you’ll learn to avoid the “techno-jargon” trap. We’ll discuss tips on how to make your proposal clear, focused, complete and compelling. MTI, its mission, and the review process will also be covered. MTI seed grants are currently awarded 6 times per year and awards have been made to over 500 Maine businesses to boost their technical R&D; efforts! Wouldn’t you like to join them? Presenter: Elizabeth Crabtree, MTI Seed Grant Program Manager, has been with MTI for 5 years and has read more than 1300 MTI seed grant proposals. Info about seed grants can be found at www.mainetechnology.org.
