The economic development division is experienced at developing innovative public/private partnerships. There is an established TIF policy. Municipally owned business/industrial park sites are available. Lewiston is a CDBG entitlement community and is designated as a federal enterprise community. The City has a streamlined development review process which includes delegated site location, traffic, and stormwater management review authority from the state.
