The Maine Technology Institute (MTI) is a non-profit organization created by the Maine Legislature in 1999 to stimulate and support research and development activity leading to the commercialization of new products and services in the state's technology intestive industrial sectors. MTI makes direct investments through several award programs: Seed Grants, Development Awards, and Cluster Enhancement Awards.
